Science Nights are designed for multi-age groups to learn, explore, and work together. Whether you are a group of family or friends, come ready to discover the scientist within all of us.

May 6th- Our Natural World: (Recommended for ages 5 to 13 and their families)
Get ready for an evening of after-hours fun! Learn how to identify fossils from our collection, take an up-close look at our butterflies, and use natural materials to complete an engineering challenge in our Hideaway Woods exhibit. Take home your own personal insect artifact as a memento of your evening. You will be sure to leave here looking at the world in a whole new way!

During this event, we will do the following to help protect our staff and guests.
The event will be held mostly outside.
There will be a limited number of participants to ensure the ability to social distance.
All guests and staff will be required to wear masks during the event unless actively eating or drinking.
All activities will be facilitated in small groups.
Any shared materials and spaces will be cleaned before the next group.
